What motivated you to sign up for Venture with Impact?

"What attracted me to Venture with Impact was the unique opportunity to travel, learn about a new culture and be of service to the community. Even more, I like the idea of doing this within a community of likeminded professionals."

Have you ever lived abroad before? If so, where?

"Yes, I have lived in Cameroon, India and Panamá. I lived abroad my junior year of college, spending a semester each in India and Cameroon and I spent the last 5 months living in Panamá."

What made you want to live abroad again?

"Once you visit one country, it's easy to catch the travel bug and after you just want to visit every place possible. Also, when you live abroad you experience a country on a much deeper level than as a tourist."

Have you done much international travel prior to VWI?

"Yes, I am working on making it to every continent."

What are you most excited about for your volunteer experience with VWI?

"I'm most excited to combine my interests in personal finance and female empowerment when I volunteer with Moche. It sounds like the women there are already doing great things and I'm looking forward to be a part of it. Also, I've spent the past few months perfecting my Spanish skills so I'm glad to put it to good use in Peru."

If you had a choice between two superpowers--being invisible or flying--which would you choose and why?

"I would choose flying because i would save a ton on flight costs!"
